Join me in Perdition!

May 31, 2007

If you’re in the New York City area this weekend, join me
Saturday, June 2 at Perdition from 6 – 8:30 p.m. Solaris
Books is hosting free appetizers and a cash bar, and I’ll
be there doing a reading from The Blood King, along with
author Chris Roberson, who will also read from his newest
book. Stop in and say hi! Friends of friends may bring
friends. I’ll also be doing a reading/signing on Sunday,
June 3 at Book Expo of America as well as a podcast, so
stay tuned!

The Hawthorn Moon—June 21

We’re throwing a global online event on June 21 for a sneak
peak at The Blood King. We’ll have excerpts, an audio
reading, interviews and hopefully a look at the new cover
art. We’re also syncing up with websites around the
world—US, UK, Canada and Australia to bring unique content
and some giveaways! Plus live chat on AOL IM and MSN
Messenger. Check out the latest news at
www.ChroniclesOfTheNecromancer.com

Steel Cities Tour—The Rust Belt Revisited July 22-28

I’ll be touring live in Erie, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, Grove
City, PA, Youngstown, OH, Boardman, OH, Cleveland, OH and
Cranberry, PA from July 22-28. On the 28th, I’ll be a
guest author at the Confluence science fiction convention
in Pittsburgh. Details for specific days and cities are on
the web site events calendar. Hope to see you there!

DragonCon and the Book Video

I’ll be at DragonCon with the folks from Solaris Books.
I’m not on the official schedule yet, but I imagine we’ll
at least come up with an unofficial gathering. We’re
hoping to have the book video done by then, and if we do,
we’ll be showing it off! We’ve got a script approved, so
the next step is moving into production once we get the
cover art for The Blood King.

New events

Check out the event calendar for new dates in Charlotte
(June 22), Winston-Salem (Nov. 1) and Boone (Aug. 18) North
Carolina. There’s also a new Ghost in the Machine with
werewolf author Gina Farago. Check it out!

Thanks for the comments on the web page and on MySpace, and
for the nice mentions on Amazon and on various Internet
message boards. I really appreciate it!
